05/12/2009

Two of Ilchi Lee's books, Brain Wave Vibration: Getting Back into the Rhythm of a Happy, Healthy Life and In Full Bloom: A Brain Education Guide for Successful Aging, co-authored with Jessie Jones, PhD, won Arizona Book Awards on May 9, 2009. Brain Wave Vibration won the award for the Psychology/Self-Help category while In Full Bloom won for the Health/Wellness/Nutrition category.

Called Glyph Awards after the earliest written symbols, the sandstone and bronze awards were presented by Jana Bommersbach at a black-tie-optional banquet at the Arizona Club on the top floor of Chase Tower in Phoenix, Arizona.

There were more than 100 entries for this year’s growing book competition sponsored by the Arizona Book Publishing Association. Eligible works must have been published in 2008 by an Arizona author or publisher or must have been primarily set in or about Arizona.

BEST Life Media, LLC is an independent publisher based in Sedona, Arizona that produces educational and life-enhancing books, CDs, DVDs, and gifts designed to help people support a lifestyle based on continuous personal growth and enrichment. Most of their products are focused around Ilchi Lee’s Brain Education System Training (BEST), a five-step system of self-development encompassing simple mind-body techniques and cutting-edge scientific understanding of the brain.

Brain Wave Vibration highlights the simplest and most powerful BEST method, which taps into a person’s natural rhythm to maximize the potential of their brain. In Full Bloom expands this concept into the field of successful aging, the specialty of co-author Dr. Jessie Jones. It goes through the five steps of BEST and offers both mental and physical exercises to make your brain creative and productive at every age.

BEST Life Media is also a member of the Arizona Book Publishing Association (ABPA). Founded in Phoenix in 1992, the Association’s mission is to advance and promote successful book publishing in Arizona through education, community involvement, cooperative effort, peer recognition, industry advocacy, and the support of 1st Amendment rights.
