On January 17, 2008, the field of Brain Education, developed by Ilchi Lee over the past 30 years, made history with a presentation to the Educational Committee of the Conference of NGO’s (Non-governmental Organizations) in Consultative Status (CONGO) at the United Nations, New York.
Dr. Warrington Parker and a team from the Korea Institute of Brain Science (KIBS) and International Brain Education Association (IBREA) presented “Brain Education for Human Rights and Dignity.”
The Brain Education presentation demonstrated and explained how it is an innovative and powerful universal methodology for using the brain well to maximize its innate potential to create health, happiness, and peace in the world.
Parker lectured on the philosophy and training system of Brain Education, and showed video clips of the 3rd International Brain HSP Olympiad, Ellenville, New York, August 10-12, 2007. Next, Katie Brisley-Logue and he led the seminar participants in Brain Education exercises for flexibility and emotional creation. Parker concluded by reading the Brain Declaration, which was very well received. Participants expressed interest in sharing the Brain Declaration with others, and having Brain Education training in other settings.
The participants were emotionally engaged, attentive, excited, and energized. The lecture helped to stimulate and elicit great energy. An Education Committee member shared his perceptions, “People seem to get it – the power and potential that exist in every human being’s brain to create health, happiness and peace. Brain Education addresses what each individual can do. It was not about what others can do. The Brain Declaration is clear about the power and responsibility of each individual.”
