Ilchi Lee and other experts in the area of Brain Education spoke to the scholars, all of whom specialize in areas related to health and wellbeing.
Dr. Sung Lee, a physician who is actively researching the effects of Brain Education (BE), presented a brief lecture detailing the scientific and theoretical foundation of BE and described the research efforts he has participated in so far. Also, Dr. Warrington Parker, the director of PowerBrain Education, provided examples of BE in action through his discussion of BE’s use in elementary schools.

As the highlight of the event, Ilchi Lee shared the underlying principles of BE and its vision for health, happiness, and peace in the world. He emphasized the importance of the brain in creating all the conditions we experience in the world, explaining that everything we experience is the result of choices made by the human brain. He showed clearly that we must begin educating the brain not just for intellectual pursuit, but also to make better choices for a better world.
The event was held in a conference room in the office of the Dean of Health Sciences, which provided a wonderful lunch to be enjoyed while presentations were made. The room was beautifully decorated with yellow roses, and all guests received special Cal State Fullerton mementos and a copy of In Full Bloom. In addition, Dean Roberta Rikli presented Ilchi Lee with a golf towel and a cap from the world-champion CSUF baseball team.In all, 15 scholars from various university departments attended the meeting.

After the presentations, Dr. Jones and Ilchi Lee celebrated the publication of In Full Bloom with the cutting of a cake featuring the image of the book’s cover. The two also shook hands, agreeing to pursue mutual collaboration toward the study of Brain Education. After the meeting, Ilchi Lee and other representatives of Brain Education took a tour of CSUF’s health science research facilities, including their state-of-the-art biofeedback lab.
This meeting marks an important step toward widespread acceptance of the BE as an educational method. After the meeting, several scholars expressed interest in learning more about BE, and they suggested possible ways to study its effectiveness. Ultimately, BE is about empowering people to create healthy, happy, and peaceful lives. This event is an important step toward making this concept an accepted and natural part of our educational system.
