The first ChunHwa Meditation Tour in the world took place at the HSP Ranch in British Columbia, Canada from June 28 to July 2, 2008. Led by Ilchi Lee, the tour’s theme was “Explore the Earth to Uncover Your Life’s Secrets.”
The striking, peaceful beauty of the HSP Ranch was the perfect backdrop for the lectures, meditations, and other training techniques experienced by the 39 participants. Therefore, much of the training was held outside. One morning they went on a meditative walk with Ilchi Lee. Participants also hiked to an overlook called Heaven’s Gate that afforded a beautiful view of the winding Peace River. On another occasion they rowed down Peace River and purified their minds at the powerful ChunHwa Falls. One participant said that during the training she could feel “warm, caring energy from nature trying to heal her body.”
The ultimate goal of the tour was to learn and experience the principle of ChunHwa, which literally translates from Korean as “becoming heaven,” or becoming one with heaven. In fact, helping people to experience, live, and share the principle of ChunHwa is the ultimate goal of all Brain Education training programs. This particular training can be categorized into the Brain Education System Training (BEST) steps four and five: Brain Sensitizing and Brain Mastering.

The core type of training during the tour was “Gae Chun” and “Tong Chun” training, through which participants opened their minds and hearts to find the true purpose and value of their lives inside themselves. From learning their true purpose they gained freedom and more meaning in their lives, as well as the desire to share the principle of ChunHwa with others.
They had the opportunity to act on their desire to share during the tour, when they participated in Canada Day in the nearby town of Vanderhoef. They and the staff gave demonstrations of dancing, drumming, and DahnMuDo and Ilchi Lee gave the townspeople a celebratory address.

The ChunHwa Meditation Tour will be offered at the HSP Ranch again this year from August 29th to September 6th and December 5th through December 11th. Dahn Yoga members can register for the tour through their local center.
