The Dahn Yoga & Tai Chi Center in Saint Charles, Illinois was selected for the 2008 Best of Saint Charles Award in the Yoga Instruction category by the U.S. Local Business Association (USLBA) on April 4, 2008. The USLBA "Best of Local Business" Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, USLBA members are asked to identify companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success and overall customer satisfaction in their local market and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community. A record number of surveys were submitted this year by members from all fifty states. The awards represent excellence in local business and rate the best local businesses in three different categories: Marketing, Image and Community. To ensure accuracy, surveys were subject to three audits using a variety of technologies.
The 2008 USLBA Award Program focused on quality, not quantity. Winners were determined based on the overall merits of each category rather than how many votes a local business received. The popular vote was still important, however. To be eligible to win a 2008 USLBA Award, a program needed to receive at least 1 percent of the popular vote to qualify. The U.S. Local Business Association is a Washington D.C. based organization founded and funded by local businesses that operate in every town across the United States. The purpose of USLBA is to promote local business through public relations activities such as advertising, education, political donations, lobbying and publishing. The USLBA (http://www.uslba.net/) offers market research, marketing consultation, public relations and advertising to local businesses. The organization works exclusively with local business owners, marketing groups and local associations. Their mission is to provide operational support, marketing and partnership programs for local businesses across America. Set as favorite Bookmark
