Ilchi Lee Lectures at the BR Energy Circulation School in Korea Print E-mail

The second term of the BR Energy Circulation School began a 2 day and 3 night session on March 21, 2008 at the KAL Hotel in Seogwi-po, South Korea. Students came from around Korea to this part of Jeju Island to learn how to circulate their life energy to create a hopeful and successful life.

“Dahn” means “life energy” in Korean. Much of Dahn training involves learning to circulate and accumulate energy. Unlike with other training programs, however, this group of thirty Korean Dahn members received this training from high-level Korean trainers.

They led the members in both physical training and meditation such as Un-ki (energy circulation), Kuk-gung (traditional Korean archery), and meditating on the energy from the ocean.

The special trainer was Ilchi Lee. His training helped the students open the energy pathways of their bodies. He also gave a lecture about how, despite the differences in appearance and culture between people from Eastern and Western parts of the world, they all have the same desire for peace.

On the last night they had a special dinner and final lecture with Ilchi Lee. During this dinner he led them in a wine meditation, using the fragrance of red wine to heighten their sense of smell.

The school participants actively appreciated their participation and wanted to maintain what they had learned. To use their new awareness and energy, they made a goal of hiking to the summit of Mount Halla, a volcano on Jeju Island.

My greatest memory of Jeju Island was meditation at the waterfall, the only waterfall in the world that pours directly into the ocean. A real jewel.
