At the beginning of 2008, Ilchi Lee announced that his new book BOS (Brain Operating System), a user's manual for the human brain, will be translated from Korean and published in 10 languages.

Ilchi Lee characterized Brain Education is the best way for people to recover their sense of humanity and achieve mastery over their life of their health, happiness and peace.

Some people see what is in our brain as the basis of the problems that individuals and societies face. But to Ilchi Lee, the brain is the source of hope. Because of our brain, one can say that "I" exist. When we use our brain well, we are healthy and happy. When we use it in wrong and negative ways, the whole world is confusing. How can we use our brain well? Brain Education is the answer. Brain Education begins with the fact that all problems in the world can only be resolved through a better understanding and utilization of the human brain.

Ilchi Lee is a president of University of Brain Education, Korea Institute of Brain Science, and the founder of Kook Hak Won. He is an educator and philosopher. It is he that has modernized Korean traditional mind-body training and made Brain Education an academic study.

Ilchi Lee said "Busan can be a hub city of cultural interchange and Human Technology in the Asia-Pacific era."

Ilchi Lee's concept of the Brain Operating System (BOS) is the five-step technology to utilize our brain more productively, creatively and peacefully. If the computer has an operating system, our brain surely has a BOS. He says, "Brain Education is a systemized program of BOS. Thus, individuals, families and corporations can utilize it for their health, happiness and peace. If BOS is applied to business, it becomes Brain Management. In the future, it can be applied to many fields."

Recently, Ilchi Lee is teaching Jangsaeng (Longevity) Walking, which is a youthful-health-restoring style of walking. This is a life health method, which is extension of Brain Education. He believes, "Just by changing your habit of walking can we reduce half of our medical expenses. Walking stimulates and activates the brain. Enterprising walking will change one's personality, correct bad habits, and eventually change one's destiny." His book Walking to Save My Life (Korean) was published in May 2007, having sold 120,000 copies so far.

Ilchi Lee gave a short lesson in Jangsaeng Walking, "Let's try. It is very simple. Bend your body forward by 1 degree, and have your feet parallel to each other. Grab the earth with your toes. Stimulate your foot's Yong-chon acupressure point. Curl up your tailbone and walk. Try this for a few days and you will feel the difference."

From what Lee shares, the way to improved health is not far away. And you can get healthier and happier without spending money. You will not lose anything by trying this approach.
