With its unique natural beauty and vortex-energy amid Coconino National Forest, the 160-acre Sedona Mago Retreat Center in its 10 years of operation has created an ideal environment for the renewal, training, and healing of its more than 3,000 guests from all over the world visiting annually. Innovative holistic training programs have been designed to enhance health, happiness and peace, based on the Brain Education System Training (BEST) methods developed by Ilchi Lee. Sedona Mago Retreat Center (“Mago” means “Mother Earth” in Korean) is owned by the Tao Fellowship, a nonprofit educational foundation, committed to “love of humanity and love of the Earth.”
Lee’s lecture will explain how the brain can remain fit after 50 in order to produce physical health, mental functioning, and inner peace. It is a matter of choosing to make the commitment to change. Several simple and practical techniques for feeling and acting younger will be demonstrated. The lecture is an extension of the new book “In Full Bloom: A Brain Education Guide for Successful Aging,” by Lee and Jessie Jones, Ph.D., which is available from Amazon.com.
Guests who drive to Sedona Mago Retreat Center can park in the lot next to its main gate. Or they can ride the 12-mile primitive Bill Gray Road on the Retreat Center’s free shuttle vans. After parking on the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church’s lot, the vans leave from Mago Information House (Bill Gray Road and Highway 89A) for a 30-minute scenic ride. Shuttle riders are requested to reserve seats and one of two departure times. The vans (50-seat capacity) leave at 10:00 and 11:30 AM. At the Festival’s end, the vans depart the Retreat Center’s Welcome House, at 4:30 PM and 5:50 PM.
Sedona Mago Retreat Center’s natural setting has four mountains, hills, red rocks, gardens, a lake, ponds, and abundant plantings. Facilities in harmony with Nature and based on “green criteria” include meeting rooms, guest rooms, meditation areas, pool-spa, horse stables, and water management system. The Sedona Mago Retreat Center is at 3500 Bill Gray Road, 12 miles from Highway 89A, between Sedona and Cottonwood. For people coming to the 10th Anniversary Festival, it is necessary to RSVP at 1-877-624-6786, specifying their desired participation: free lunch, shuttle van service, Lee’s lecture, and/or special overnight stay package.
