On March 14, 180 people gathered at the Sedona Mago Retreat Center in Sedona, Arizona for the YEHA DahnMuDo Camp.
By the end of the camp on the morning of Monday, March 17, participants of many ages had reconnected with their true selves and with the earth while immersed in Sedona’s stunning red rock environment. They developed the power and conviction to act from that place inside through physically training their bodies and overcoming many obstacles. They faced personal physical and emotional limitations, as well as outdoor training in the snow. And they danced a lot!
This camp featured DahnMuDo training by Master Jang, and communing with your true self with Master Chung Hae. Both of these powerful trainers are among the few most senior in their specialty in the country. The camp’s main trainer was Michael Munson. Michael is also the main trainer for the Dahn Foundation’s Phoenix Project.
The Phoenix Project is a non-profit, young adult empowerment program that features community service. Many former Phoenix Project participants attended this camp, and some even staffed the event.
YEHA DahnMuDo Camps are held three to four times a year, both at the Sedona Mago Retreat Center and at the Fallsview Best 5 Resort & Spa in Ellenville, New York. The goal of each camp is to help people, mostly young adults, find their inner passion and power. It fosters an open, warm heart, as well as a mind that wants to help others. Attendees learn to find and live their dreams.
