It has made me reflect on my on birthday. As always, you inspire me. I called my mom after reading this and asked her how delivering me into this world was for her. I asked her what the state of the nation was at that time. I wanted to know what life was like then for her and my father. I feel lucky to be here, even if there are so many things that we (or I) need to do to help mother earth be a safer, healthier more peaceful place to be. It also made me feel so proud of my mother, and as a mother myself, feel proud of myself as well.
