Peace

Today is my first day.   I began with mindful breathing to set my focus.  Once I felt centered, I began head vibrations, shaking my head side to side.  My neck hurt.  I focused on relaxing my shoulders and neck, but it still was painful, so I stopped.  I went on to the next portion of my plan, and began tapping my body like we did in class yesterday.  I'm notsure if I'm doing it correctly, but I did feel more awake and alert even before having coffee!  Goal before tomorrow:  Read about this in one of the books and see if I'm on the right track.

Brain Wave Vibration - July 21, 2008

Began my first Dahn Yoga session.  Participated in the session focusing on the lower abdomen/intestines followed by stretches, lite aerobics and brain wave vibration.  I worked up a serious sweat and felt dizzy.  Lower back and right arm still a little stiff, but define improvement. Most noticably with clarity of mind.  Ability to focus is returning.  Agitated feeling and short temper subsided.

Scheduled individual energy assessment to determine real problem which I already know is stressed.  Master Soul identified energy blockages in my heart, kidney and small intestine, followed by a personal healing session to relieve my symptons.  Symptons upon arrival included: heavy breathing, sore muscles, aching joints, fingers, upper/lower back neck and decreased circulation in the fingers and arms.

I walked out after 30 minutes with 80% of my systems alleviated, a clear mind with the confidence to take back control of my life.

Stress Attack - July 12, 2008

About midnight I experienced an electrical current passing through my left arm followed by blurred and double vision.  I am a 48 year old female in relatively good shape, married with two young children.  Since my mother and her twin (my aunt) both died of cerebral brain hemorages I checke myself in the emergency room to see if I had experienced a mini-stroke or TIA.

I was admitted promptly.  They checked my blood pressure, drew blood for a full metalobolic panel and heart enzymes and hooked me up to a heart monitor.  Did a CAT Scan, an MRI and a Stress Echo Test.  All tests came out clear.  The prognosis.  Could be Fibromyalgia.  Call the Doctor in 5 days and take a baby aspirin daily.  Stop taking all herbs.

What you don't know is that I do not practice western medicine.  I have sought the care and advise of alternative practicioners for over a decade with stellar results.

21 Days

Sunday was the last day of the 21 day miracle program for me.  I didnt apply every rule everyday but I am much more aware of what I am eating. I did not make it to my goal, but did lose 3 pounds. Also feeling more focused during the day at work. I do not miss eating meat everyday and I am eating more fruits and vegetables. When I go to the market, buying more fruits and veggies.  Feeling much lighter. Discovered making yogurt and fruit smoothies which are very filling and healthy.  I use the fat free plain yogurt and add fruit and throw everything in the blender. Especially on the nights when going to a yoga class at the center, I eat very light prior to class and make a smoothie or have some cereal when I get home after class.  When my husband and I go out to dinner I never eat my entire meal.  Always bring home the left overs.  This is only the second time I have written in my journal; had a hard time keeping up with this.  I admire everyone participating in this program who kept up with writing in the journal.  Maybe if I wrote more in my journal I would have done a little better in applying the rules to my goal.  All in all it was a good experience for me.

This is my first entry on my journey to recovery from shoulder surgery that happened on June 27th.

I did spend an hour with Sara today; she is my physical therapist; she is young and caring; however brought me to tears to once again today.  I can tell it makes her fell bad.  I just need to follow through more one the home exercises.

Tomorrow is another day.
