First full day of 21 miracles

Posted by carolyntaylor in Untagged

I am surprised how difficult the first full day was to keep focused on my goals. Everything in the universe seemed to want to distract me! I realize that the goal is not to be perfect but to keep steady and improving every day.

My goal is to strengthen my ability to focus and practice the various steps of Dahn yoga in my home as well as at the center. As part of this change, I want to workout each day and lose the 5  pounds that have been impossible for me to lose in the past.

I Can Make a Miracle Happen

I recently had surgery on my ankle and, as a result of not being very active, and not attending class have put on 10 extra pounds.  My goal is to lose those 10 pounds and at the same time become more diligent in my practice.  My plan is to go to class at least 2 times per week; to walk my dog (who also needs the activity) 2-3 times per week; to do 1000times of intestine exercise every day; to cut down on fats and sugars in my diet; to perform at least 21 bows per day; to do brain wave vibration training 5 minutes per day; and keep my journal.

I am so excited to begin this wonderful journey with those in my group as well as fellow Dahn memebers participating in the 21 day Miracle.  As you all may know, we are all SACRED SOULS and with the support of our fellow members as well as your "True Self", we can accomplish everything our heart desires....

Day 1

First day went reasonably well. Made it to 5am class on time and had a very productive session. Performed 103 bows along with more intense chanting. Evening session was for 25 minutes of moderate stretching, meditation and chanting. Still formulating evening route. Will fine tune as direction becomes clearer.

late night eating

well, it is late at night. I will be off of work in less than 15 minutes, and yes I am thinking about eating something.  I just want to chew.  I am not hungry though.  Tonight, I will do my best to just go home, take a bath, and go to bed.

DAY #1

Today was an unusually busy day, there was no TIME to do any emotion-based eating!! It took me a bit to get focused this morning when I was doing my dahnjon tapping: I kept losing count, so I kept starting over at the last hundred I could remember. I think I might have gotten lost in the mid 300's a two or three times.

Happy pig!Hi there!

I just discovered this spot!  Great.  I exercised hard enough to sweat 3 times today!  I bowed 200 x so far (100 more before bed), and have laughed for about 5 minutes.  I will go home and roll around with my dog and laugh some more!  I just did the brain wave training and it was fun!

Second day tapping completed!

I did not count to 3000 today, but listened to the Chun Bu Kyung CD and did tapping for 1 hour with closed eyes and sincere mind (well, almost all the time...). The last 20 minutes, alot of anger came out, I was furious with so many small things! When I sat down to meditate for a few minutes afterwards, I felt anger disappear through my arms. It felt good!
