One-Click Enlightenment. Can Modern Technology Make Enlightenment Faster?

One click enlightenment lotusWe are now living in an information age. Information travels across the globe at lightning speed. We can see practically everything through video images. We can travel to Zimbabwe, Cambodia, even to the moon in an instant. We are living in a time where we can experience everything at the click of a button, even meditation. You don’t need a special method for meditation … you can just watch a video.

Because of this convenient accessibility to limitless information and technology, a person who lived two-hundred years ago may assume that humanity had reached its enlightenment if they were to witness our modern society. The average five year old knows more now than many adults in previous eras. But where has this technology gotten us? Are we happier now than we were before? Is there more peace on the planet?

Technology on the planet has progressed faster than the consciousness of humanity; however enlightenment can also happen in an instant. It really can be that fast. The only thing that keeps you from achieving enlightenment in this moment is your thoughts, just tiny bits of information firing in your brain. They are not even real, tangible 3D things.

The value of a human being lies in the value of the information that she carries. Our current media has focused primarily on telling the story of the struggle, not the solution. We have allowed these stories to influence the way that we see the world. These stories of struggle may have been entertaining, but has the media enhanced your own quest for a happier, healthier life?

A change is in the wind. A new interest in mental and spiritual wellness has hit the planet, and the scales have begun to balance. Soon, technology and consciousness will go hand and hand. A trend of using technology to advance the human spirit has begun. To contribute to that end, I have developed LifeParticle.com, a website for enlightened media. Television shows, broadcasts, music, and meditations are produced regularly that engage the human imagination in the quest for growth and completion. All of the programming on this site has been designed as a support tool to help expand your consciousness and make mindful living something that comes effortlessly.

Through the meditations on the site, you can reconnect to yourself, release negative information that you may have encountered during your day, and refresh your spirit. You don’t need years of practice; all you need is to see, all you have to do is search. That is the kind of world that we are living in. We can travel across the globe at lightning speed, or we can transcend time and space and experience ourselves as an enlightened being with one click of a button.

You don’t even need to believe anything in particular to experience the benefits; you can just enjoy the process of allowing your brainwaves to regulate through doing a meditation, listening to music that soothes the soul, or watching a program that sparks the courage to reach for your dreams. It is my hope to contribute to the world with positive, quality entertainment that enlightens, entertains, and supports you in the highest expression of your life.

The Good, the Bad, and the Chocolate Ice Cream

A child enjoys chocolate ice cream procured in an inconsiderate manner. There are two types of people in the world; there are good people and bad people. In order to know what a good person is, it isn’t necessary to have met a bad person. You can feel intuitively: this is a good person, I can trust them. In the Korean language it is even easier decipher the difference between a “bad” person and a “good” person through the direct meaning of the words.

Nabbeun (nah-bboon):  nabbeun is the Korean way to refer to a “bad” person. Within the word, there is a deeper meaning. Na means “me,” and bbeun means “only.” The translation of a “bad person” is a person who cares only about him- or herself.

I have devised a simple quiz for you to determine which category of person you are. To put it in relatable terms, I will use the analogy of chocolate ice cream. Let’s say that chocolate ice cream is your favorite. On this particular day, you really have a craving, but when you arrive at the store you find that there is only one pint of chocolate ice cream, and two other people reaching for it.  What are you going to do?
a.) Are you going to reach quickly so that you can have it for yourself?
b.) Will you surrender that chocolate ice cream, and yield to the other two people, so that they can be happy?

If you overcome your desire to be the possessor of that chocolate ice cream, you may experience disappointment, but by yielding you create peace.

Peace is created when you yield, not when you try to possess something for yourself. Of course, in the case of the chocolate ice cream, if you allow yourself to satisfy your desire for it you will feel momentary satisfaction. When you were a child it was natural to live from a “me only” mentality because at a young age you did not have the awareness of collective happiness or collective peace. However, as you grow older you come to understand the world, and you realize that you are not the only person living here. Eventually you realize that a collective world outside of yourself exists where we all live together. By yielding you may miss out on a little ice cream, but that doesn’t mean that you will suffer greatly for the rest of your life.

If you compromise by indulging in an alternate flavor, really, you are still far more fortunate than someone who doesn’t have any ice cream at all. If you yield and have the banana ice cream, you can feel satisfied, even though it wasn’t your first choice.

On the flip side, if there are three people and all three of those people are nabbeun people (“me only” people), then something as drastic as a killing can occur because of that ice cream. If one of the nabbeun people draws a gun and shoots the other two people so that he can eat it for himself, then you have lost peace.

That is what the world looks like now.

It isn’t likely that someone would pull out a gun because of chocolate ice cream, but wars do happen because of gold, coal, or oil.

That is the reality of the world right now. And that is why nabbeun people are just bad. So what is bad is bad and what is good is good. If you become enlightened to that simple principle, that is enlightenment. That is enlightenment about peace. It is enlightenment about happiness. It is simple. And that is all that I became enlightened to: I didn’t become enlightened to something special—I was just able to clearly see what is good and what is bad.

Vibrate Yourself to Life

Vibrate for happinessLife begins with vibration. All of the tiny elementary particles that form life are always vibrating at different frequencies. Vibration creates temperature or heat. In a way, the force of life is temperature; it sustains life. Each life form can only exist within a particular temperature range.

That’s why we need to understand vibration; it is light, sound, and action. Vibration allows LifeParticles to move, transfer, and respond, which allows your great and wonderful soul to express itself in the material world. To express your soul, you have to move your body, make vibration, and take action.

You cannot understand vibration simply by reading about it. You have to experience it. To make your body vibrate, you can simply move, or you can receive LifeParticles from the LifeParticle Card, or another person, that make your body vibrate automatically. Or just shake. How do you shake? Don’t think about it. You have to just shake your body. The important thing is just to do it. If you start thinking about how you are going to do it, then you won’t be able to shake. So you have to shut off your thoughts. People tend to think about things too much. But when you’re thinking, you can’t meditate, and then you cannot connect to your inner rhythm and your soul. You have to just do it. Sometimes when you want to just do it, you may feel a little awkward. Why? Because you need some rhythm. So you can play some nice music. Then it’s much easier.

What happens when you shake? Your stress and tension will fall away. Eventually, you’ll find your inner rhythm. You may start to feel warm, which is a sign of healing. Although your movements may start out as large and/or forceful, they may become subtler the longer you vibrate. The vibration will become not so much body movement, but a tingling or a feeling of current inside. If you really let yourself go, your conscious mind can relinquish control of your body to your unconscious, which causes your autonomic nervous system to produce “happy hormones” that give you a sense of gratitude, ecstasy, and bliss.

You may even experience energy phenomena such as visions or messages from your soul or from an illness you may have that tells the story behind it. That’s because LifeParticles are a form of information. Vibration releases negative information that can create disease while you are receiving pure, healing LifeParticles from the LifeParticle Sun, as you would from the LifeParticle Card or another person sending them to you. When energy moves, it brings thoughts and emotions to your awareness that are associated with it, making you conscious of them. But they are not something you need to give a lot of attention to or hold onto. Just let go of your thoughts and keep moving.

As your vibration takes you deeper into your unconscious mind, you access the information that is stored there. And then you go beyond messages and inspired thoughts to complete oneness. Ultimately, you can see yourself and your environment as LifeParticles. The lines between one object and the next blur together. That’s enlightenment. This level of vibration may be difficult to achieve, however, without preparation of your body, mind, and energy.

While all of these experiences are wonderful, they are meaningless unless they affect and inform your everyday life. They allow you to experience your true nature, or your soul, and the nature of the universe. Once you experience it, it’s easier to apply it to every aspect of life. Without this experience, you cannot know spiritual principles, or you will only know them at the level of abstract thought.

How are you living now? For what reason do you act? Do you know the dream of your soul? Do you treat others with compassion and consideration? You can find and express the dream of your soul with vibration.

Live in the First Person

Ilchi Lee - be your own super heroAll the stories in the world are in the first, second, or third person. At this time it’s the first person that is important. Now it’s not the saint, martyr, or great hero who is the protagonist. It is the “I.” It is you.

Many people tend forget how important they are. Instead, others are always emphasized. You live for your family and your country. Although it may seem noble, this emphasis on others is a value of a purely material civilization.

However, an era of spiritual enlightenment is not a time of him or her or them. It’s a time in which the self is important and you create you. You have to exist in order for there to be a him or her or them—even the country and the earth. In each of us exists everything else. If I exist then you and he and she can exist—that is enlightenment.

Before now we’ve studied so much about others but did not consider loving ourselves and interacting with ourselves to be as important. However, each of us is at the center of everything. We are each important and should value ourselves as such. Value is not something given to you by others but something you create.

The world’s problems are not going to be solved by a he or she, but by an I. You are standing at the center of history in 2012. But what will you choose? If you choose it, it will come true. What creates history is millions of choices. For the future of humanity, there is work we must do and this work is done in the first person.

Just Press the Button

Ilchi Lee - divinity in your brainI hope that even if you live for just one day that it’s the happiest day. Happiness is not something someone gives you, but something you create for yourself. We have the power to create happiness. That’s because inside of your brain you have God—a divine aspect with limitless creative potential. To feel the divine and become one with it is a very natural thing. Because it’s so natural anyone can become enlightened.

Just as there are applications on an iPad, we have the app of enlightenment inside of us. To launch that app, to launch the divine, takes not even one minute. It’s just like pressing a button. However, many people aren’t even aware that this app exists and spend years not knowing to turn it on. A new awareness and understanding of the brain is the beginning of enlightenment.

The most important understanding you need for enlightenment is that divinity is natural to the human brain. It may not be something you can see or prove, but it makes a world of a difference. What do you think would happen if you thought, “We all have divinity in our brains?” Don’t you think that everything would seem different—better? With that one idea, everything changes. People would tend to have more respect and compassion for each other I think. When a person is respected they gain strength and creativity. People who don’t respect themselves are not able to focus on the present moment or concentrate on what they are doing. They cannot access all of their apps and information, and their brains cannot function optimally.

Then how can you respect yourself? What does it take? You have to practice breathing. When you breathe, set the intention of experiencing the divinity in your brain. The mental attitude you need to do that is generated when you focus on your body.

That’s what we need to create a spiritual culture. We need everyone to believe that there is a divine, creative aspect to each person’s brain, and to treat each other accordingly. Don’t you think it’s worth believing? What have we got to lose?
