Day has dawned on a New Year.
Because you are a precious soul
who has received the blessings of heaven, the blessings of earth, and the blessings of people,
may this become a year in which
you create much good fortune
for heaven, earth, and humans.
Every day, we welcome a new day.
And we become a new person.
Everything you had until yesterday,
and where you were standing,
have nothing to do with
who you are this morning.
That’s because
we always start today fresh.
Yesterday is already over,
and tomorrow has yet to come;
today is actually all you have ever had.
