Use Your Breathing

When you breathe out,
you can feel comfort
as you relax more easily
and your mind becomes calm.

When people see some food
or an object that they want,
they tend to breathe in deeply
without even being aware of it.

Why don’t you consciously try the opposite?
Before you make a decision about something,
try exhaling.
Then ask yourself if that’s
what you really want.
When you resign yourself to something
or you’re giving up,
you automatically breathe out.

What if you tried the opposite?
When you want to give up or settle for less,
remind yourself to take in a deep breath
consciously, with awareness.
You will be infused with new energy.
You will be recharged with new hope.
